RESA - Drone inspection of gas pipeline Pont du Val
What did we do:
On the Pont du Val bridge, we carried out a visual inspection of a gas pipeline to assess its overall condition, paying particular attention to the support points and the coating.
The gas pipeline, located on the south side of the Pont du Val, is divided into five sections. Two of these sections are situated above a highway, while the three central sections are placed above the water. The inspection focused on detecting cracks, corrosion, coating flaking, damage, and pipe wear, especially at the support points and on the coating, to ensure the structural integrity of the gas pipeline.
By leveraging our technological expertise and experience in inspecting complex environments, as well as obtaining the necessary flight permits, SkyeBase can ensure the safety and durability of the gas pipeline while optimizing maintenance costs. As a result, corrosion and coating damage were detected, allowing the client to assess risks and plan maintenance work.
