Your responsibilities
- Project tasks:
- Coordination of drone projects at customers in an industrial, technical and high-risk environment. (both in Belgium and internationally)
- Project Step 1: Preparation
- Work preparation of projects; (flight request operations in accordance with legal procedures, risk analyses, communication with customers)
- Project Step 2 : on-site data captation
- Responsible for capturing and processing inspection data when performing inspections
- You work together with the drone pilot. You take on the role of inspector, payload operator or observer during field assignments.
- Project Step 3 : Data processing & Reporting
- Processing inspection data into a report in iSPECT (our own inspection platform) or generating Ortho mosaic photos and 3D models.
- General tasks :
- Supporting the management and maintenance of SkyeBase equipment.
- Assist with testing, demos, and training activities.
- Keeping operational documents and administration up-to-date in accordance with our procedures.
- Performing tasks necessary to actively support the safety and quality management system (VCA P, ISO 9001:2015).
Estimated time: 25% on-site at customers’ premises and 75% in the office or home office.
What profile are we looking for?
- We are looking for a dynamic person with the right personality and skills to join our team.
- Driving licence (B)
- You live in the Antwerp area. This is because our assignments start from our Hub located in the north of Antwerp.
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent through experience
- Demonstrable technical background
- Proficiency in Dutch (oral and written), English (oral and written), knowledge of French is an advantage.
- Motivated problem solver with good communication skills and a proactive approach
- Good analytical and creative thinking skills
- Organized and structured
- Being able to take good photos with a camera in manual mode.
- Stress-resistant, conscientious and respectful of material.
- You can work independently and in a group.
- You like working in a fast-growing company and do not have a “9-to-5″ mentality”
- Can work smoothly with Office and other digital packages.
- Knowledge of LLM AI tools (Claude, chat GPT, … )
Bonus
- Experience with NDT inspections and/or drones
- VCA-VOL
- Experience in planning and executing inspection assignments, in various environments under difficult conditions
- Experience in data processing packages for Ortho mosaic photos, 3D models, Knowledge of industry and/or industrial environments… (Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, …)
- Knowledge of industry and/or industrial environments
- Knowledge of drone aviation legislation
