Ineos Phenol – Inspection of a distillation column

For Ineos Phenol, we executed a visual inspection of a distillation column with three main pipelines. Using a drone, the entire asset could be inspected in a short period of time. The compact size of the drone allowed access to previously inaccessible areas.

Through careful technical project preparation, extra attention was paid to important inspection points such as welds, supports and joints. Safety is also a priority in order to fly in seveso zones. In the project preparation phase, all risks are determined and discussed in advance. Mitigations are applied where necessary during the assignment. As an end product, the client received a clear report detailing the deviations identified. A clear positioning of anomalies simplifies the maintenance process for the asset manager.
