Artificial Intelligence Beet inspection

what did we do:

SkyeBase participated in the innovative beet project, in collaboration with “KBIVB – Royal Belgian Institute for the Improvement of Beet”. The aim of this project is to detect fungi on beets at an early stage, using artificial intelligence. This allows the most efficient and ecological treatment methods to be identified as optimally as possible and carried out to harvest healthy beets. We used the MicaSense RedEdge MX Dual Camera System for this inspection, so that multispectral images could be used for detailed analysis. Additionally, a normal camera (x5 zenmuse) was used to superimpose these images.
